The center of Gdańsk is one of the most attractive areas in Poland. The Young City district that is being brought back to life in the coming years will become one of the showpieces of the agglomeration, similarly to other port cities in Europe.
DOKI is a multifunctional investment being built in the center of Gdańsk, on post-shipyard, historically significant areas, in the vicinity of the European Solidarity Center. It will include a residential development quarter – DOKI Living, implemented by Euro Styl from the Dom Development Group. Over 1,000 apartments of various sizes have been designed there, and over 100 service premises on the ground floors of the buildings. Right next to it, in the revitalized historic building of MONTOWNI – the former submarine assembly plant, 114 unique serviced lofts will be built, which are an investment product of a hotel nature.
“A large selection of apartments and service premises at DOKI Living and a unique product, which are historic lofts serviced with the support of a professional operator belonging to our Capital Group, create a wide range of investment opportunities,” says Magdalena Reńska, managing director and member of the management board at Euro Styl.
DOKI Living consists of over 1000 comfortable apartments. To provide the residents with peace and greater intimacy, they were raised above the service premises on the ground floors, which, combined with a high standard of finish and functionality, makes this place unique. The apartments on the first floors are designed with private, backyard gardens and intimate green patios available only to residents, conducive to neighborly integration. Balconies, loggias and terraces on the upper floors will provide exceptional views of the Old Town, port pools and characteristic shipyard cranes. On the ground floors of the buildings, there will be over 100 service premises, which will include bakeries, cafes, bars, restaurants, small shops and various services.
“Service premises in the DOKI investment are very popular, because here we create the city. Small and large investors and the so-called End-users are eager to buy premises in the center of Gdańsk, because it is a good idea to protect capital in less stable times. More and more individual people decide to make such a purchase in order to earn money on the commercial lease of the premises, adds Magdalena Reńska.
MONTOWNIA is being built in an architecturally unique, historic building of submarine parts from the 1930s. It will include 114 serviced lofts, occupying 2,700 sqm food hall and conference center. MONTOWNIA will attract not only the residents of DOKI Living, but also the closer and more distant surroundings, as well as tourists and people coming to the city for business purposes. Lofts serviced at MONTOWNI are a convenient combination of a hotel offer with independence, which is provided by functionally designed apartments with fully equipped kitchenettes. The impressive height of the storey, reaching even more than 5 meters, made it possible to create a mezzanine for bedrooms, thanks to which each apartment will comfortably rest 4-6 people.
A spacious reception lobby with 24-hour service will lead to the apartments. Guests will also be able to open the apartment with a smartphone without the need to use the reception services. The building will also include common spaces for guests, such as a business room, a reading room and a playroom for children. The walls of MONTOWNIA will be decorated with unique, large-format photos in a shipyard atmosphere by Michał Szlaga, a well-known documentary filmmaker. Between the storeys, 17 impressive light objects, ranging in size from 2 to 9 meters, designed by the renowned artist Tomasz Krupiński, will be suspended. Their sheathing will be made of exotic ephium shells, imported on special order from the Philippines.
“Lofts serviced at MONTOWNI are a unique opportunity for investors to purchase a historic property in the center of Gdańsk. Such a purchase is undoubtedly an excellent capital investment and gives you the pleasure of having a unique property in your portfolio. In addition, a professional operator company will take care of the maximum occupancy of the apartments, and the owner will derive proportional profits from renting the entire facility, with minimal involvement of his own time,” summarizes Magdalena Reńska.
The assembly plant will welcome its first guests in April 2023.
