Dom Development plans to start construction of 3,000 units in the second half of the year

Dom Development plans to introduce approx. 3,000 units for construction in the second half of this year, informed the president, Jarosław Szanajca.

“For two quarters, we have been observing a decline in the offer, it is falling in Warsaw. In the following quarters it will be supplemented quite quickly. We have plans of about 1,500 introductions in the second quarter and about 1,500 in the last quarter of 2021,” said Szanajca during an online conference.

The developer’s offer amounted to 1,771 units at the end of the first half of the year.

“We anticipate that there are no reasons to limit production,” emphasized the president.

“For now, we do not see any elements that could be considered to be hard risks in the housing market. The risk is whether there is enough supply, or whether local governments will provide conditions for the supply to meet this demand, which we believe and hope that it will still be like that,” assessed Szanajca.

Dom Development had 5,804 units under construction at the end of June, 29% more y / y.
