The Hungarian subsidiary of the German parcel service provider DPD Hungary has acquired a 100% share in GTR Logistics, a Hungarian-based firm. The former competitors were among the most biggest players on Hungary’ CEP market. DPD trades under the GeoPost brand, which is the parcel service
company of the French Post and it’s a leading service provider for the CEE region. DPD had a network of 18 depos in Hungary which will be expanded by one main building in Budapest, along with 13 smaller ones around the country. GTR Logistics was sold by Central Fund Venture Capital Fund.
