DPD Romania opened a new logistics center in Sibiu, following a €1m investment. The 4,400 sqm center was built in the industrial park developed by WDP in the area. DPD Romania hired about 60 people to staff the new center.
“The decision to open a warehouse in Sibiu, where the central DPD hub is also located was a strategic one, especially because of the position of the project, which facilitates the couriers access to the main transport routes from Romania and Europe,” said Lucian Aldescu, director general of DPD Romania.
