The Draexlmaier Automotive Concern and the Sumitomo Machinery Trade Corporation will invest in the industrial sector of Moldova this year.
According to the main administrator of the Balti Free Economic Zone, Marin Ciobanu, both companies will begin the construction of two ecological industrial plants this year.
The investment made by Sumitomo is worth €27m, while Draexlmaier will invest in the construction of the plant and equipment €31m. Together, both factories will create about 6,000 new jobs in the area.
