DSS (Dolnośląskie Surowce Skalne), the company responsible for the A2 motorway construction, posted a PLN 165.4m operating loss in 2011, with the income of PLN 589.2m over the period. “All the losses resulted from our involvement in road investments, including the construction of the A2 motorway,” said Rafał Abratański, the vice-president of the company, during yesterday’s press conference. “All the losses we suffered from these contract are already included in the report,” he added. DSS representatives announced the company’s plans to to apply for bankruptcy proceedings to being at the Warsaw District Court.
