Eight office buildings, totaling 75,000 sqm, were completed in Bucharest between January and September, according to DTZ Echinox. The completions increased Bucharest’s office stock by 4 percent to 2.12 million sqm. DTZ estimates that the city’s class A and B office stock will reach 2.18 million sqm by the end of the year. Four new office projects are currently underway in the capital, including Bucharest One, The Landmark, Hermes Business Campus-Building C and phase four and five of AFI Business Park. Approximately 166,000 sqm of new office space is expected to hit the market over the next two years, according to DTZ, with with an additional 500,000 sqm currently in the planning stages.
