According to the eVisitor guest check-in and check-out system, just 2,145 visitors stayed the night in Dubrovnik on July 5. That was just 13 percent of the 24,824 overnight stays that were realized in 2019. According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Dubrovnik’s hotel sector is getting its largest number of guests from Germany, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Germans, French and Poles are tending to stay in private accommodations. Most establishments have reduced prices, some up to 60 percent, while many private flat owners aren’t even bothering to rent out their units.
