Commercial real estate firm Duke Reality has begun construction on the Pembroke Pointe office park. The new complex is located on a 36-acre site on Pines Boulevard next to I-75 in Pembroke Pines. The first of the four spec office buildings will have 145,535 square feet and is aiming for a LEED Silver certification. The plans call for 4.2 parking spaces for every 1,000 square feet of office space. Duke recently sold a 465,000 square foot office complex in August for $128 million, and purchased Premier Commercial Realty’s entire South Florida portfolio in 2010 for $450 million.
