Between January and June, 97,000 dwellings were completed in Poland, up 2.7 percent y-o-y, according to preliminary data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Developers completed 62,400 dwellings, 6.1 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2019, whereas private investors completed 32,800 dwellings, down 0.9 percent than in 2019. A total of 661 dwellings were completed within cooperative projects, down from 954 dwellings a year earlier. Meanwhile, a total of 1,179 dwellings were completed as part of municipal, public building society and company construction projects, down from 1,655 in H1 2019, according to GUS.
