Between January and August, 135,800 dwellings were completed in Poland, up 5.5 percent y-o-y, according to preliminary data published by Statistics Poland (GUS). Developers completed 87,700 dwellings, up 9.4 percent y-o-y, while private investors completed 46,000 dwellings, up 3.5 percent y-o-y. Less dwellings than a year ago were completed within cooperative construction (816 compared to 1,436 dwellings in 2019). In other forms of construction, like municipal, public building society and company construction, 1 338 dwellings were completed in total (compared to 2,718 in 2019), according to Statistics Poland.
