A €1.4m eco kindergarten will be built in Burgas, located on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, funded through the Operational Program “Regions in Growth 2014 – 2020”. The project, designed by Ivo Petrov Architects, was ready to go last year, but paperwork for the financing has only now been completed. The municipality will now launch a tender to choose the construction company.
The kindergarten will be built in two stages and is designed to be able to enroll 150 children when at capacity. The first phase of the project will be for 3 groups of 26 children and a nursery group with 20 children. If the contractor is chosen soon, delivery of the first phase could take place this year.
