Guntner is planning to open a 18,000 sqm factory in Sibiu. Construction is set for completion next spring. Costs are estimated at €20m.
“The new plant in Sibiu, Romania, will be built for the production of commercial cooling systems and will enable us to meet the growing demand of such energy-efficient and quiet units,” says Robert Gerle, Guntner’s managing director, adding that there is a possibility of expanding the Sibiu plant in the future.
