The Dobrich municipality has completed the reconstruction and modernization work on the Saint George park. The work began in May 2013 requiring an investment of nearly €5m, €4m of which was provided by the European Regional Development Fund. The 15 acre park is the oldest in the country, having been constructed in 1867.
Work included the replacement of all of park’s furniture, the reconditioning of the statues and urban spaces, garden landscaping and the installation of a skate park and a sports facility.
The project was designed by the Architects of Dobrich studio, while Agrovodinvest carried out the construction work.
