Having threatened to call early elections if a splinter group from the shattered junior coalition party Public Affairs failed to gain ten votes by Monday, he’s pushed the deadline back a bit. Karolina Peak, leader of the splinter group, needs one more defector from the original party and has been given time to do so, as this would give the government a majority in parliament.
