German group Eberspächer plans to invest €32m in the construction of a new factory in Oradea in the Eurobusiness I Industrial Park.
“It will be a factory that produces exhaust systems and air conditioning systems for the automotive industry,” said the city’s deputy mayor Mircea Malan.
The 15,000 sqm factory will be built on a 11.2 ha plot and will include several production halls, storage areas and administrative offices. The new plant will create 150 jobs in the first year and the number of employees will reach 700 when the investment will be completed.
Auto air-conditioning equipment manufacturer Eberspächer ended last year with a sales volume of €3.5 bn.
