Echo Investment has invited the Academic Enterprise Incubators to its Malta Office Park in the city of Poznań to open its new office in the Wielkopolska region. Operating in 31 top universities across Poland, AIP is a part of the Polska Przedsiębiorcza (Entrepreneurial Poland) fund set up to develop entrepreneurship among young Poles. Roughly 1,100 companies are currently operating in 40 academic enterprise incubators across the country. AIP will fill 500 sqm of Echo’s six-building, 31,000 sqm office complex. Malta has been under construction since 2007 and was delivered in three phases. Tenants include McKinsey & Company, Ikea, BPS, NextiraOne Polska, Altkom Akademia, Data System Group, and Mentor Graphics.
