Echo Investment secured more than €30m in loans from BNP Paribas Bank Polska for two new stages of its A4 Business Park project, currently underway on Francuska street in Katowice. Work on the second phase of the project began this year, following the completion of the first seven-story building, a 9,000 sqm structure. The building is leased to the IT giant IBM.
Echo expects to complete the second phase of the project in the fourth quarter of the year. The 10-story, 9,000 sqm office building offers 560 parking places. Remax Construct is in charge of the building’s shell.
“We’re happy to welcome BNP Paribas Bank Polska as our financial partner,” said Echo’s financial director, Grzegorz Iwański adding that he sees the transaction as a sign of Poland’s improving financial market.
