Construction started on Ecohouse, a residential project going up in Bratislava’s Podunajské Biskupice neighborhood. The project secured a permit before the crisis, but the investor decided to put construction on hold after the economic climate deteriorated. The plans were revised last fall to meet current market conditions. Maisonettes were cut into smaller units and more parking was added. The city approved the changes in January, and completion is set for the beginning of 2016. Ecohouse will offer 76 flats ranging from 39 sqm to 185 sqm, with large terraces on the fifth and eighth floors. Prices range between €1,400 and €1,700/sqm.
