Econergy secures financing of EUR 200 million for renewable energy projects in Romania and Poland

The Israeli company Econergy Renewable Energy, the developer of the largest photovoltaic park in Romania, secured a financing of over EUR 200 million for renewable energy projects in Romania and Poland and signed a new acquisition on the Romanian market, which provides for the construction of a photovoltaic park with a capacity of 60 MW, in Ovidiu locality, Constanța county.

Econergy is building in Rătești, Argeș County, the largest solar park in the country, with a capacity of 153 MW, a project bought last summer from the Portland Trust in partnership with the company Nofar Energy. The total investment in the project is estimated at around EUR 98 million. Later, in autumn, Econergy took over another important photovoltaic project, located in Părău, Brașov County, with a capacity of almost 90 MW.
