An affiliate of Boca Raton-based Economos Properties has secured a $13.5 million construction loan for the development of the Four Points by Sheraton Miami Airport hotel. The hotel is to be built on a 1.5-acre site near the State Road 826 exit ramp onto Northwest 36th Street. The plans call for a 124-room hotel that would total 45,182 square feet and include a 2,220 square-foot restaurant. Financing was provided by HSBC Bank USA. CAST Construction has already begun work on the hotel as the general contractor.
