Two new office and residential buildings are to be built in Sarajevo in the city’s Ilidza district. Named Ilidza Towers after their location, they will cost more than €8.5m to complete on a 4,150 sqm piece of land located next to the Ilidza hotel. The investor is El-Sagir, which has already put €5m into the project. The towers will have 12 floors and in addition to underground garage space for 99 vehicles, serving 80 apartments from 55sqm to 131sqm. Along with the flats, 1,688 sqm of office space will also be built. Construction started last year in July, with Butmir Company having been awarded the project contractor. El-Sagir will also build a pedestrian bridge over the Zeljeznica river to improve access to and from the rest of Sarajevo.
