The decision was taken this week by the shareholders of Eletrim to merge with Darimaks company, to make it possible for Elektrim to return on the Warsaw’s Stock Exchange. “The intention of the company’s majority shareholder is to to go back on Warsaw’s bourse,” says Wojciech Piskorz, chairman of Eletrim. “It could take place next year,” he adds.
As public offering comes close for Eletrim, the restructurization for the company is now being carried out, as Eletrim plan include another merge, with the Cyprus-based company. The non-operating companies will be liquidated, while preparing the prospectus for the public offering.
The board estimates the merge could give Eletrim PLN 3.3bn in profits, after the company posted a loss of PLN 3.9m just last year.
