Two Roads Development has received approval from the FAA for what will be the tallest condo tower in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Coming in at 649 feet, the Elysee Residences will offer 100 units over 57 stories at 700 N.E. 23rd St. along Biscayne Bay. The project is currently in the pre-sales stage with plans to break ground in the first quarter of 2016. Units will range from three to five bedrooms, including full-floor penthouses with prices ranging from $1.65 million to over $10 million. The tower was designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Miami-based Arquitectonica with interior designs by Jean-Louis Deniot of France.
“We are pleased that Elysee’s proposed 649-foot building height complies with the FAA’s requirements for safe and efficient use of navigable airspace in Miami,” said Reid Boren, partner at Two Roads Development. “We appreciate the ongoing efforts of Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami, the Miami Downtown Development Authority, and others who have coordinated local and federal planning and height regulations so that this project and other similar towers can grow the downtown Miami skyline and promote the economic development of South Florida.”
