The online retailer eMAG opened its largest warehouse near the A1 motorway in Joita, a commune in Giurgiu County, southern Romania. The warehouse features 126,000 sqm of space, making it the largest warehouse in the Southeastern Europe region, including Russia. Construction broke ground 11 months ago and was overseen by the local company Bau Construct. The investment is valued at roughly €65m.
