In a $116m deal, Emerald Equity Group has acquired a four-building multifamily portfolio in the Upper West Side’s Manhattan Valley neighborhood. The transaction includes 219 units, totaling 230,000 sq ft. The seller, Orbach Group, paid $70m for three of the buildings in 2013 and $16.3m for the fourth in 2016. The deal was completed with a $92m mortgage from LoanCore, formerly known as Jefferies LoanCore.
