In an investment worth €55m, Emerson SRL recently opened an engineering service and support center as well as a production factory at the Tetarom II industrial park in Cluj-Napoca. More than 700 Emerson employees are expected to work at the center and factory. John Bell, the company’s general director, said this investment will ultimately help customers reduce their energy consumption. Emerson opened its first Romanian unit in 2007. The company posted a turnover of $25bn in 2013.
