The data center company Equinix has renewed it lease in the Two Harbour Place office building in downtown Tampa. The company extended its original 17,188 sq ft lease in the building and expanded it by 8,058 sq ft. square feet. The building is a 188,456 square-foot, Class A office building located on Harbour Island in Tampa’s CBD. While it’s the newest office building in downtown Tampa, it recently underwent a $1 million renovation of its lobby, restrooms, and common areas, enough to capture BOMA’s 2015 Building of the Year Award for facilities under 200,000 sq ft. Cushman & Wakefield’s Senior Director Paula Buffa and Director Lauren Coup represented the landlord, Crocker Partners, in securing the lease.
“We are delighted that Equinix is growing their Tampa presence and adding employees at Two Harbour Place,“ said Josh Edwards, Vice President of Crocker Partners, which owns more than six million square feet of office space throughout Florida. ”Their commitment confirms our confidence in the market’s future and the investment we’ve made to keep Two Harbour Place the Tampa CBD’s top business address.”
