Ernst & Young Romania appoints new partner

Dragos Radu was named partner at Ernst & Young Romania, where he will also head the company’s legal services practice. Radu is a lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in cases involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, real estate and corporate law.

He was involved in several major transactions on the regional market, including the privatization of BCR and Sidex Romania. He is also co-founded the law firm RTPR Allen & Overy, where he was a senior partner until 2010.

Radu is replacing Eirinikos Platis, who led Ernst & Young’s legal office for the last eight years. Platis is relocating to Athens, where he will be engaged in re-establishing the company’s presence on the local market.
