Eset reportedly lost control over the Carlton hotel in Bratislava that its partners Rudolf Hrubý and Maroš Grund bought last year from Erik Assimakopoulos, Trend is reporting pointing to the city’s business register. Erik Mikurčík, owner of real estate agency Artur, was originally brought in to manage the property but was later given a one-third share in the SPV called Carlton Property. In June, Mikurčík reportedly increased the corporate stock and gained majority share. Eset wrote in a statement that its lawyers are dealing with the issue. Hrubý and Maroš invested €27m into the hotel, with the rest of the purchase price (totaling €60m) financed through a loan from VÚB.
