Mirsad Fikić, a businessman based in Berlin, is planning to build an ‘Ethno Village’ near Sarajevo. He led a delegation which visited the 6 ha plot in the town of Zlatište where he’s planning the construction of the complex, which would include sports and recreational amenities.
Fikić insists the location offers the capacity to produce something Sarajevo will become famous for. “What I saw today provides numerous possibilities for the construction of a beautiful tourist oasis fomr wood and stone which will, apart from stimulating the development of tourism in this city and country, also enable the producers of healthy food to place their products,” said Fikić in a statement.
