The EU has warned it will stop funding Czech operational programs because of the serious flaws in its auditing system. Czech Prime minister Petr Nečas told parliament that nearly one-third of the programs could be cancelled. But his description of the situation turns out to be rather diplomatic, according to the news server Aktuálně.cz, which says the decision has already been taken and that EU funding for the programs was cut off on March 9. EU commissioner Johannes Hahn will visit Prague on March 22 to discuss the local auditing problems with prime minister Nečas.
