EU infrastructure support driving Polish construction

Poland’s troubled construction market is expected to expand even by 6 percent this year and another 8 percent in 2015, according to Maciej Krokosiński of Deloitte. He says that EU infrastructure support will help drive the growth. “According to our estimates, Polish construction rose about 6 percent in the first half of the year. We expect this pace to be maintained in the second half of 2014 as well,” said Krokosiński. “It’s not a significant improvement, more like a slight recovery, but it makes the prospects for the market very promising,” he adds.
