The Warsaw Stock Exchange’s WIG20 index started today’s trading with a 0.6-percent increase and continued climbing, hitting 0.8 percent before noon. According to Polish media reports, the local market was positively impacted by news that the Chinese economy had performed well during the last quarter of 2012.
The European markets increased after news came that EU leaders reached the agreement on the 2014-2020 budget. France’s CAC40 index jumped by 0.5 percent this morning, while Germany’s DAX index was up by 0.3 percent. Spain’s IBEX35 index and Britain’s FTSE250 index increased by 0.2 percent.
