EU markets start week with slight drops

Following drops on the US market last week, European markets fell slightly this morning. Germany’s DAX index dropped by 0.05, while France’s CAC40 index was down by 0.2 percent and Britain’s FTSE250 index saw a 0.01-percent slump.
Market watchers expect no sharp movements in stock prices on the global markets during today’s trading, as no substantial macroeconomic data is set to be released today.
The euro strengthened this morning on the global Forex market against the Polish złoty by 0.1 percent to PLN 4.1910.
