EU will contribute €728,000 (CZK 18m) toward the PPP project to build the D3 highway. It is the only Czech project to be financed by the TEN-T program, writes the news server e-15. The program targets supra-national transport projects. The money will be used to organize a tender. The government will deal with the project in the fall. The private investor will finance the construction and maintenance of an 18 km long portion of the highway to the south of Veselí nad Lužnicí over the next 30 years.
