Europa Capital launches Westgate Park Rudna

28 March 2014

Europa Capital, on behalf of Europa Fund IV, has launched Westgate Park Rudna, a prime logistic warehouse site on the western outskirts of Prague. Originally used for storage and distribution of goods for Billa supermarkets, it sits on the first exit from D5 motorway towards Pilsen. The original warehouse building built in 1997 provides 32,000 sqm of usable space including 6,000 sqm of office space, but Europa Capital plans to start its refurbishment into flexible modern facility.

An additional 15 ha of land has been zoned to allow for the construction of a further 34,000 sqm of new warehousing. An additional 20,000 sqm of land could be built on a separate plot of land suitable for warehousing or retail warehouse space. Charnwood has been appointed as the local asset manager with a mandate from Europa Capital to implement all aspects of the project business plan.
