Europe’s first Apple store is open in Vienna after a pandemic closure

Apple launched its first store in Europe yesterday in Vienna after being closed due to a coronavirus pandemic. Apple closed all its stores around the world due to the pandemic, but have re-opened in China South Korea. In Europe, Apple will reopen its first store in Vienna, where authorities have already moved forward in loosening measures.

Additional security measures have been taken to keep customers and staff healthy, and the opening hours will be limited from 11am to 6pm. Staff will stand at the entrance to limit customer flow, to ensure they wear protective masks and to take their temperature. The focus will be on customer service.
