Profits for the construction company Eurovia CS increased moderately to CZK1.4 bn last year. Its results for 2012 will be affected by cuts in national investment into transport infrastructure. The near future will be difficult for the construction sector, Eurovia CEO Martin Borovka told the news service ČTK. Still Eurovia will keep its regional branches. As it specializes in transport infrastructure, the state is responsible for more than half of Euroviea’s turnover. The contractor is in the midst of a dispute with the Czech government over complaints about the quality of construction on recently completed sections of the D47.
