HB Reavis revealed at Expo Real in Munich that it will begin tearing down Bratislava’s main bus station in November, once it completes a temporary bus station across the street. This station will serve the public until work is completed on the mixed-use project NIVY Mall & Bus Station, which will feature 70,000 sqm of new retail space spread across three levels, along with 32,000 sqm of new offices. The shopping center will be divided into three levels divided into convenience and services, fashion, and a separate level with food, including an open fresh market with 11 meter ceilings. The developer has completed work on the temporary bus station facility but will need until November to complete the new platform area. Once this is done, the company will begin with demolishing the old bus station and expects to begin construction of the new center by February.
