The FAA has granted approval for the developer PMG to build a 1,049-foot tower at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. The approved height is 1,041 feet above ground, or 1,049 feet above sea level. Details of the project have yet to be announced, but it is expected to include approximately 500 luxury condos. PMG principal Ryan Shear stated that the developer “has full intention to use every foot.” Once completed the building would become the tallest tower in Miami.
