Farmaceutica Remedia reported a turnover of €53m in 2012, an 18-percent increase year-on-year. The Romanian pharmaceutical distributor and operator says it hopes to increase its turnover by an additional 8 percent this year.
The company currently has 70 facilities in its Romanian network and plans to add another 10 pharmacies within the coming months. It also plans to focus more on its over-the-counter division as well as its logistics and distribution arm.
Company officials are also looking to partner with pharmaceuticals producers in various therapeutic areas, including oncology and diabetes. The company is predicting a turnover of RON 290m for 2014 and RON 320m for 2015, said Robert Peloiu, general director of Farmaceutica Remedia.
