The Federal Communications Commission has inked a new lease for 473,000 sqf of office space at Sentinel Square III in Washington, D.C. The FCC will occupy a portion of the floors 1-2 and all of the remaining space on floors 3 to 10 on the 11-story building. Sentinel Square III is part of a 1.3 million square foot, multi-phase, Class A office project located in the city’s popular NoMa submarket The building is designed to meet Level IV security protocols and will pursue a LEED Silver certificate. The building’s landlord is a Trammell Crow Company and joint venture partners, Cottonwood Partners and a subsidiary of a private real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital ā Real Estate. The FCC expects to be able to move into the building after completion by November 2019.
