Ferenc Bartha, CEO of Trigranit Holding Inc suddenly passed away. The ex-president of the Hungarian National Bank was born in 1943 in Budapest and held several important positions during his life. He was Deputy Head of Department at the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Secretariat for International Economic Relations of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Board of the National Property Agency and later became the Government Commissioner for the Privatization. He was the CEO of the TriGránit Development Inc. between 1997 and 1999, after that became President of the company until 2003. He served as President of the TriGránit Holding Inc. and he was the Chairman of the Board of the Gránit Bank Co. Ltd. He was a member of the Hungarian Economical Society, South Eastern Europe Business Advisory Council, and of the Science Council of Hungarian Academy of Sciences’s World Economic Research Institute. The 69 year old Bartha passed away on Monday, 7, May.
