The Fifteen Group Capital paid $12m for an office building in Plantation, Florida. The 130,549 sq ft, single-tenant building has served as the headquarters for Bellsouth Telecommunications, a subsidiary of AT&T, since the building was constructed in 1985. Sitting on 13.7 acres, the buyer paid just under $92 per sq ft for the property. NKF Capital Markets represented the seller, FT-Florida Property. āAcquiring a 14AC site with in-place income in one of the most sought-after submarkets in Broward County was very attractive to the buyer, who has plans to reposition the property in the future,ā said Michael Lohmann, managing director at NKF Capital Markets.
