Technology giants Finastra, Visteon and IBM have decided to go on the market with some parts of the offices rented in Romania, in order to save money in the context in which most of their employees work from home, and the leases they have signed are on a long period.
Finastra has marketed a third (approximately 8,000 sqm) of the area of its headquarters in Orhideea Towers. Almost all of the 530 Romanian fintech employees work from home and are preparing to return to the office only a few days a week. Visteon has decided to sublease about 40 percent of the 5,000 sqm headquarters contracted in the ISHO project in Timisoara, and IBM Romania offers on the market a half floor, respectively about 1,000 sqm of the approximately 28,000 sqm rented in The Bridge project in Capital.
