The Czech developer Finep is to reconstruct a building owned by the social democratic party ČSSD at a cost of CZK 75m, money the company will recoup through what’s being described as a 25 year lease. “The company really likes the palace and our shareholders literally fell in love with the project,” Finep’s spokeswoman Pavla Temrová told the daily E15. The rent level ČSSD will be charged was not released, nor was the percentage of space in the building the party would occupy, so the return on investment for the developer cannot be calculated.
