Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has signed a new contract with Finnair for the maintenance of the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet. The three-year contract includes an option to extend it for another three years. It includes all planned revisions and repairs along with potential modifications to the plane’s cabins. The new deal follows a two-year project between the two companies during which CSAT carried out a variety of modifications of the cabins along with the installation of wireless Internet connections for 24 Airbus A320 Family planes. CSAT claims it’s the first project of its kind and that it was done in direct cooperation with Airbus. CSAT’s most important clients include Finnair, Transavia Airlines, Jet2.com, Austrian Airlines, Czech Airlines, Smartwings. In all, it worked on revisions of 120 planes in 2019. CSAT belongs to the company that operates the Prague airport, the state-owned Letiště Praha.
