First Industrial Realty Trust, based in Chicago, has acquired a warehouse and distribution center in the Center of Commerce business park for $14.03 million. Located in Northwest Orlando at 4473 Shader Road, the 199,100 sqf industrial building traded for just over $70 per sqf. The asset was built last year by California-based Panattoni Development Corp. as a build to suit property for Tech Packaging Inc. of Jacksonville. The purchase marks the second warehouse space First Industrial has acquired in the Orlando market in the last year.
