The first project for the $3 billion downtown Tampa investment call for a two tower multifamily residence where condominiums will be sold and leased. Expected to break ground next year at 815 Water Street, the plans call for a 26-story and 21-story buildings that share amenities along with a full-service grocery store. Designed by architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in conjunction with Raymond Jungles Inc. and Cecconi Simone, the property will be adjacent to Amalie Arena and the Tampa Bay History Center, at the intersection of Water Street and Channelside Drive. The developer also intends to build a 700,000 square foot office tower within Water Street Tampa and an upscale 500-room hotel that will be connected to the Marriott Waterside Hotel.
